Prevention Educator : Gaming Specialist

Street Hope TN is hiring a Prevention Educator, whose role will be to present all trainings under our Prevention Education department. This individual will be a capable, engaging, and relatable communicator who is able to work well with local school districts and effectively teach students and adults about the role technology plays in trafficking and sexual exploitation.

Administrative Coordinator

Street Hope TN is hiring an Administrative Coordinator to help assist in our organization’s day-to-day operations and procedures. The Administrative Coordinator will be reporting directly to the Senior Director of Operations. This hourly, part-time position will be 20-25 hours per week in-office and offers a convenient Monday-Thursday schedule.

The Administrative Coordinator role will require the ability to manage numerous details, in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining passion for the mission. To ensure success, applicants should have a clear understanding of our ministry’s core values and culture. Top candidates will have excellent people skills, superb business acumen, excellent work ethic and have sound understanding of providing professional and administrative support.

Open Positions - Garland Oaks

Garland Oaks is a safe home for 12-17-year-old girls rescued from Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking. Through a trauma-informed model, we will work to lead these survivors on a path of restoration and healing.

The work done within the walls of Garland Oaks will be a holy work, set apart for hearts specifically crafted to patiently walk with the most broken.

Garland Oaks is an undisclosed location, monitored 24/7 by awake, on-duty staff. Candidates will not be given the address of the location until they are hired, background checked, and confidentiality statements and other paperwork are completed.

Garland Oaks Clinical Staff

Therapist

Garland Oaks, a ministry of Street Hope TN, seeks to hire a female licensed clinical Christian therapist to provide highly skilled, trauma-responsive psychological counseling and related work for Garland Oaks Safe Home.

The therapist will provide mental health therapy and other direct services to adolescent survivors of human trafficking. She will also maintain an effective trauma-responsive service training in substance abuse disorders, delinquency and mental health treatment.

Garland Oaks Direct Care Staff

Case Manager

Garland Oaks, a ministry of Street Hope TN, seeks to hire a Case Manager to act as primary advocate for Garland Oaks’ residents.

This position will provide comprehensive, highly skilled,
traumaresponsive case management for domestic minor sex trafficking survivors. The primary focus of the work involves providing complex clinical services to adolescent survivors of human sex trafficking; maintaining an effective trauma-responsive services delivery model and related administrative duties to include administering assessments, monitoring, and tracking therapeutic progress, adjusting interventions as needed, advising clinical staff regarding resident’s status, facilitating group intervention, identifying areas of improvement, and providing recommended changes. The case manager will also build and maintain therapeutic, trauma sensitive alliance with residents, as well as professional rapport with staff, family members, foster families, and any local or state related authorities.

Assistant Program Coordinator

Garland Oaks, a ministry of Street Hope TN, seeks to hire an Assistant Program Coordinator who will be responsible for resident care and ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of Garland Oaks.

This position is a leadership role and will model healthy and loving relational boundaries in a home environment where residents have the space to grieve their past trauma, heal from their brokenness and learn successful life skills. The Assistant Program Coordinator will model a high level of discernment, integrity, hospitality, time management and a life dedicated to serving others.

Resident Assistant

Garland Oaks, a ministry of Street Hope TN, seeks to hire a Resident Assistant to provide assistance in daily living tasks, personal care and support for residents who are 12-17 years of age living at Garland Oaks.

The primary focus of this position is to work alongside other direct care staff to provide structure and consistency for the girls at Garland Oaks. In addition to direct care supervision this position will help create and execute the custom independent living program, wellness program and other program aspects at Garland Oaks, which will help teach and empower residents on their individual path of healing. This position has shifts available on weekday evenings or on weekends.

This position requires working a minimum of four shifts per month, including one Friday evening shift, one Sunday evening shift, and one Sunday morning shift.

Resident Assistant

The primary focus of this position is to work alongside other direct care staff to provide structure and consistency for the girls at Garland Oaks. Overnight Caregiver

The primary focus of this position is to know the whereabouts of each resident during the night and respond to any residents who may be distressed. Overnight staff will need to be highly skilled in verbal de-escalation and therapeutic techniques.

Teacher Assistant

The primary focus of this position is to improve students learning experience by assisting the primary educator with day-to-day tasks. The ideal candidate will succeed in supporting fellow education staff while also acting as a resource and support role to students to maximize their classroom time. This role is responsible for helping facilitate a well-rounded and successful learning environment for the girls at Garland Oaks.

Wellness Coordinator

The primary focus of this position is to work alongside other direct care staff to provide structure and consistency for the girls at Garland Oaks.

In addition to direct care supervision, this position will help create and execute the custom wellness program at Garland Oaks, which will help teach residents how to be good stewards of the body God has given them. This position will teach a daily fitness class as well as nutrition and wellness.
