God always accomplishes His plans. With, or without us.

You chose to step into all He has planned for Garland Oaks. 

You chose to see the pain, and be a part of the healing. 

You chose to say, “Yes.”

Your, “Yes,” opened our doors.

You read that right – the doors of Garland Oaks are officially open!

God used your generosity to accomplish His plans.

We are fully staffed, fully approved and fully open to what God will do next in the lives of the girls who step through our open door.

Four years ago, we didn’t know what this day would look like. Sometimes, we didn’t feel if this day would come.

But, today, our hearts are overwhelmed when we look back and trace His hand, when we see how He used His people to accomplish His plan. We count it a privilege to have walked this road with you.

To know it’s just beginning – the redeeming, restorative work of Jesus.

To know those beds will soon be slept in, the table ate at, the couch sat on.

The house, lived in. Hearts, healed. Eternities, shifted.

What she thought was an ending, she will soon see as the beginning.

We won’t just dream of re-writing her story.

Now, we will be the hands and feet, used by God, as He makes beauty from ashes.

You are the hands. You are the feet.

You are now, forever, a part of her story.

We gently, and with hearts of gratitude, invite you to continue holding the pen.

Continue in the work God has called us to. Work that is only possible because of His finished work on the cross. Today, we remember the sacrifice He made, which now gives our work purpose.

Continue, with us, writing a story so full of His glory and His power – we can only point to His hand.
